FOX American Idol Sweepstakes

PROMOTION PERIOD: FOX American Idol Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:00:01am Pacific Time (“PT”) on March 19, 2011 and ends at 11:59:59pm PT on April 24, 2011 (the “Promotion Period”). All entries must be received during the Promotion Period. The Sponsor’s computer is the official time keeping device for this Sweepstakes.
ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the forty-eight (48) contiguous United States and District of Columbia who are at least thirteen (13) years of age or older at the date of entry. Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void in Alaska, Hawaii, and where prohibited or restricted by law. Individuals who have won a prize from the Radio Shows (as defined below) within one hundred eighty (180) days prior to the start date of this Sweepstakes are not eligible.
PRIZE DRAWING: A random drawing will be conducted by the Sponsor on or about April 25, 2011 from among all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. Winner agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sweepstakes Entities, whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.PRIZE(S): ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE; A three (3) day/two (2) night trip for two (2) people to Los Angeles, CA. The trip includes round trip coach airfare for two (2) people from the major gateway nearest the winner’s residence (as determined by Sponsor) to the major gateway nearest Los Angeles, CA, two (2) night’s standard hotel accommodations (single room, double occupancy), and two (2) tickets to the American Idol Finale (the “Show”) (Approximate Retail Value: $2,500.00).
Travel will take place between May 24th and 26th, 2011 and travel is based on travel restrictions and blackout dates. If the winner is unavailable for travel on the designated dates, the winner will be disqualified and the Sponsor reserves the right to select another winner in its sole discretion and if time permits. Winner and guest must travel out of the same airport and on the same itinerary. A minor must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. If winner is under twenty-one (21) years of age, he/she must be accompanied by a guest who is twenty-one (21) years of age or older. Winner and guest are responsible for all necessary travel authorizations such as passports, visas, and/or government identification and for any travel insurance. Meals and beverages, incidentals, gratuities, souvenirs, phone calls, luggage fees, travel insurance, seating upgrades, ground transportation, and any and all other expenses not specifically mentioned herein are the sole responsibility of the winner. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to provide ground transportation in lieu of air transportation if the winner resides within one hundred twenty-five (125) miles from the trip destination. If, for any reason, the Show is postponed or canceled, the Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible and the trip will be awarded without the Show on the same itinerary. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any portion of these prizes, including travel dates and destinations, for a prize of equal or greater value. No transfer, assignment, change of the prize, or cash substitution is permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. If a winner cannot be contacted or is disqualified, the Sponsor reserves the right to determine an alternate winner, in its sole discretion. Unclaimed prize(s) will not be awarded. Other restrictions may apply. All federal, state, and local taxes on the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
