Season 9’s Didi Benami has released her first commercial song since her time on American Idol. The song is called “If I Hadn’t Forgotten,” and it’s a duet with her good friend and talented musician, Keaton Simons. Didi said, “I’m very happy and excited about it. It’s been a long time in the works for me to get something out there, and I think the wait brought us to just the right song at just the right moment.” The song was even used in the latest episode of Private Practice, and the title of the episode was the same as the title of the song!

Didi will be performing at a charity concert and dinner weekend at the Grand Lucayan, Bahamas on November 11, and she’s chosen to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org/musicgives).
