The AT&T $10,000,000 Idol Sweepstakes. One Grand Prize winner will win a trip to the American Idol television show finale tentatively scheduled for May 25, 2011 and the opportunity to participate in the AT&T $10,000,000 event. Promo ends on May 13, 2011.
1. NO PURCHASE/PAYMENT OR TEXT MESSAGE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE/PAYMENT OR TEXT MESSAGE OR CODE SCAN WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. The AT&T $10,000,000 Idol Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins on January 17, 2011 at 12:00:01 am Eastern Time (ET) and ends on May 13, 2011 at 11:59:59 pm ET (the “Promotion Period”). The administrator of this Sweepstakes is The Concept Studio, LLC (“Administrator”). The Sponsor of this Sweepstakes is AT&T Mobility, LLC, 1025 Lenox Park Blvd. NE, Atlanta, GA 30319 (“Sponsor”).
HOW TO ENTER: During the Promotion Period, enter one of three ways: (1) Use your AT&T two-way text-messaging capable mobile device to send the text message “WIN” to the short code 4004 or to perform any other text messaging action described in any related Sweepstakes communication to enter OR (2) Use your AT&T mobile device to scan AT&T Barcodes that will be posted in various locations such as billboards, stores, on the Internet, print advertising and television. To scan an AT&T Barcode you must first download a free AT&T Code Scanner Application to your mobile device. You will be offered an opportunity to download this Application when you enter by text messaging or by texting “SCAN” to short code 72267. Use your Code Scanner to scan the AT&T Barcodes. Once you successfully scan an AT&T Barcode, you will be provided instructions on how to receive an entry in the Sweepstakes. Follow these instructions to enter. You can receive an entry in the Sweepstakes when you scan a unique AT&T Barcode using your Code Scanner. Message and data rates may apply. OR (3) To enter online for free, visit attidolsweepstakes.com and follow the online entry instructions. All entries must be received during the Promotion Period. Administrator’s computer is the official timekeeping device for this Sweepstakes. Proof of entry does not constitute proof of receipt. All entries submitted become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Entries using macro, script or other forms of automatic entry and entries which attempt to subvert the entry process will be disqualified. You must provide all information requested. Incomplete, unreadable or unintelligible submissions will be disqualified.
Entrants who enter the Sweepstakes by text-messaging or by AT&T Barcode will be charged according to their standard text messaging rates and entrants should contact AT&T for pricing plans and details. Entrants agree to incur any and all charges demanded by their specific plan. Not all mobile devices are capable of sending text messages or scanning the AT&T Barcodes. Check your phone’s capabilities for specific instructions. Entrants who enter the Sweepstakes by text-messaging or by scanning an AT&T Barcode will receive at least one (1) free of charge promotional message from Sponsor and will be given the option to opt-in to receive future promotional messages as part of this free of charge promotional message. Standard data and message charges may apply to future promotional messages.
ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States or D.C. and Puerto Rico, age 18 or older. Employees, officers and directors of Sponsor, Administrator, FOX Broadcasting Company, americanidol.com, News Corp., FremantleMedia North America Inc., American Idol Productions, Inc., 19 TV Limited, 19 Merchandising Limited, CKX, Inc., Syniverse Technologies, The Concept Studio, LLC, and their respective parent companies and affiliates and their advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies (the “Sweepstakes Parties”) are not eligible to enter or win. Immediate family members and household members of such individuals are also not eligible to enter or win. “Immediate family members” shall mean parents, step-parents, legal guardians, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses. “Household members” shall mean those people who share the same residence at least three months a year. 2. WINNER SELECTION: There are two different ways to win prizes during the Sweepstakes as follows:
INSTANT WIN. During the Promotion Period, after you submit your entry by any method of entry, you may randomly receive a message (by text message or by email depending on your method of entry) informing you that you have been selected as a winner of an Instant Win Prize, as described below in Rule 6. Selection of instant winners will be based upon the time of entry.
GRAND PRIZE. One (1) Grand Prize Winner will be selected at random from among all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period by the Administrator for this Sweepstakes on or about May 16, 2011 and will win a trip to the American Idol television show finale tentatively scheduled for May 25, 2011 and the opportunity to participate in the AT&T $10,000,000 event (“Event”).
The one (1) Grand Prize Winner will be given one (1) opportunity to win $10,000,000 or $10,000, as follows: the Grand Prize Winner will be given the opportunity to randomly select three (3) of fifteen (15) phones. One (1) of the 15 phones will display a text graphic reading “A” and two (2) of the 15 phones will display a text graphic reading “T”. The remaining 12 phones will contain a $10,000 text graphic. If the Grand Prize Winner selects the three (3) phones that display the text graphics “A”, “T” and “T,” respectively, he/she will win $10,000,000 in the form of a 40 year annuity, as described below in Rule 6. If the Grand Prize Winner selects any other combination of three (3) phones, he/she will win $10,000.
There is a limit of one prize for person, per email address, per mobile device or per household.
