The American Idol 2011 Tour Sweepstakes

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
The following promotion is intended for participants in the United States only and shall be construed and evaluated according to the laws of the United States. Do not proceed in this promotion if you are not a legal resident of the United States. Further eligibility restrictions are contained in the official rules (“Official Rules”) below.
1. DESCRIPTION: The American Idol 2011 Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) begins on April 27, 2011 at 3:00 pm Pacific Time (“PT”) and ends on May 6, 2011 at 2:59 am PT (“Sweepstakes Period”). The Sponsor of this Sweepstakes is Fox Broadcasting Company, 10201 West Pico Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90035 (“Fox” or “Sponsor). The prize provider is AEG Live, LLC, 5750 Wilshire Blvd Ste 500, Los Angeles, CA 90036.
2. ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and Washington, DC, who are physically located and residing therein. Each entrant (“Entrant”) must be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry and not a minor in his/her state of resident. Entrant must have internet access as of April 26, 2011 in order to enter the Sweepstakes. Each Entrant must be the rightful owner (or have authorized use) of the e-mail address identified in the Entrant’s entry. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner, the winner will be deemed the natural person in whose name the e-mail account associated with the provided e-mail address was opened. Employees, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of Sponsor, AEG Live, LLC, FremantleMedia North America, Inc., American Idol Productions, Inc., 19 Entertainment, CKX. Inc., Fox Digital Media (collectively, “Sweepstakes Entities”) and each of their respective parent companies, affiliates, divisions, subsidiaries, agents, representatives and promotion and advertising agencies, together with the immediate family members and those living in the same household of such persons, are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. Sweepstakes void in Puerto Rico, all U.S. territories and possessions and where prohibited by law.
3. HOW TO ENTER: Entrants may enter the Sweepstakes by going to http://www.americanidol.com/sweepstakes/tourgiveaway/ and filling out the entry form, including choice of American Idol Tour city/venue. Limit of one (1) entry per person per day for the duration of the Sweepstakes Period. All entries must be received by May 6, 2011 at 5:00 pm PT. If entries exceed the entry limitations, the Entrant may be disqualified, at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Entries generated by a script, macro or other automated means will be disqualified. Entrants must accurately provide all of the requested information to be eligible to win. Incomplete, unreadable, or unintelligible entries will be disqualified. All information provided by Entrants becomes the property of Sponsor. ELIGIBLE ENTRANTS MUST SUBMIT THE REQUESTED ENTRY INFORMATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THESE OFFICIAL RULES. NO OTHER METHOD OF SUBMISSION WILL BE ACCEPTED. Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes Entrant’s understanding of, full and unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant that Sponsor determines to be in violation of any term contained in these Official Rules. Sponsor’s decision not to enforce a specific provision of these Official Rules does not constitute a waiver of that provision or of the Official Rules generally.
4. ODDS: Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
5. PRIZES:
Grand Prizes Two (2) tickets for the American Idol tour in each Tour city (as selected by winner during the entry process, up to 47 cities/venues, as set forth on the sweepstakes entry page).
The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of each Grand Prize is: $100.
Total Cumulative Prize ARV: up to $4,700
All prize details are at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Prizewinner cannot assign or transfer the prize to another person. Cash alternative is allowed at the sole discretion of Sponsor. If a prize cannot be awarded due to circumstances beyond the control of Sponsor, a substitute prize of equal or greater retail value may be awarded. If winner cannot accept a prize, or any portion thereof, as stated, the prize may be forfeited at the sole discretion of Sponsor. The value of the prize represents Sponsor good faith determination of the maximum retail value thereof. No refunds or credits for changes are allowed. The ARV of any prize is subject to price fluctuations in the consumer marketplace based on, among other things, any gap in time between the date the ARV is estimated for purposes of these Official Rules and the date the prize is awarded or redeemed. All other expenses and costs, not expressly listed above, including, but not limited to, taxes, tips, entertainment and transfers, are winner’s sole responsibility. The Grand Prize Winner will be solely responsible for all federal, state and/or local taxes, and for any other fees or costs associated with the Grand Prize they receive. The Grand Prize Winner must provide Sponsor with a valid social security number before the Grand Prize will be awarded for tax reporting purposes. An IRS Form 1099 may be issued in the name of the Grand Prize Winner for the actual value of the Grand Prize received. Other restrictions may apply. Limit one (1) prize per household. If prize is awarded but goes unclaimed or is forfeited by recipient, the prize may not be re-awarded, in Sweepstakes Entities’ sole discretion.
