Some mysterious video is on YouTube right now featuring 3 memorable season 8 American Idol semifinalists: Kristen “K-Mac” MacNamara, Tatiana “Tati” Del Toro, and Nick “Normund Gentle” Mitchell.
It is a teaser for a supposed reality show pilot called “Takin Over Hollywood” brought by Bridge Entertainment.
We ‘googled’ the company and their website says that it is a multimedia entertainment firm specializing in music, film, television and artist development. Founders Patrick Scott and Todd Fortune have been in the entertainment business for twenty years.
Purpled hair Kristen “K-Mac” MacNamara is dubbed as musician while drama queen Tatiana Del Toro, with that annoyingly unforgettable laugh- actress. The hilarious Nick “Normund Gentle” Mitchell is aptly named the comedian on the show. “Takin Over Hollywood” is created by Todd Fortune, Patrick Scott, Tatiana Del Toro and Kristen McNamara.
The uploaded video is managed by username: takinoverhollywood and the account is only a week old. It didn’t mention if it is a pilot for television or meant as an online reality show. Our guess is that they put that teaser to see how people are going to react to a show like that, if it’s going to click to the public or not. They are hoping perhaps to possibly get in more ‘funding’ to make it into a real reality television show or even be picked up by a major TV company.
One thing is certain, it is getting attention on YouTube and some write ups from various blogs including this one, are already spreading. The teaser is well made; very Hollywood and the theme song is catchy! We look forward to more videos and more information on the show.
