American Idol 10 Top 11 Compilation Feat Studio Versions of “Motown” performances (iTunes sampler)

FOX Press Release: March 23, 2011 – Another week another Idol compilation album! This week, the “American Idol Top 11 Season 10” album compilation, featuring the Motown classics sung by contestants on tonight’s show, will go on sale once again exclusively on the iTunes Store at 10pm PST following Wednesday’s March 23rd “American Idol.” Individual songs will also be available for sale.

The songs released on iTunes are studio versions recorded by the Idols under the guidance of Jimmy Iovine’s team, including some of the hottest producers in the business, such as Rodney Jerkins, Jim Jonsin, “Tricky” Stewart, Rock Mafia, Don Was, Ron Fair and Harvey Mason Jr. The 11 individual tracks and compilation album that will go on sale tonight are being released on the 19 Recordings/Interscope label. The compilation album will sell for $7.99.

American Idol: Top 12 Compilation, ‘music from the year they were born’ iTunes Audio Sampler [Season 10]

Interscope Records releases American Idol: Top 12 studio version compilation, after tonight’s (March 16th) show. This is the second digital release of Interscope and FOX’s offering post-show music to fans.

The compilation includes music from Florida producer Jim Jonsin, known for his Hip Hop experience with Lil Wayne, T.I. and B.o.B. Additionally, Tricky Stewart, known for his R&B hits, as well as work with Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross and Posion Clan’s JT Money has contributed. Also involved is Rodney Jerkins, a longtime R&B producer and rapper.

American Idol: Top 12 releases tonight at 10pm EST. Part of the profits from all Idol sales of downloadable music on iTunes will be donated to Japan and the earthquake relief fund established by the American Red Cross.

‘Who do you love’? American Idol 10 Top 12: power ranking the idol finalists on Twitter

To use this season’s catchphrase from American Idol Season 10, ‘who do you love’ on Twitter? Indeed, let the numbers speak!

Sure, this isn’t a gauge on who will become the next American Idol but in the twitter world, having the most followers is a true testament of one’s clout in the area you are famous for! Just ask Lady Gaga who holds the number one spot with 8.7 million followers from around the globe! or trailing behind her Justin Beiber and Britney Spears who have more followers than the president of the United United States!

The record breaking Twitter user perhaps is Charlie Sheen who joined Twitter two weeks ago and in 24 hours has amassed over a million followers; now 2.8 million. His followers increase at an ‘alarming’ rate that many websites are urging people to unfollow Charlie citing his shameless behaviors over the last few months as reason enough. But we digress.

We’re here to talk about the idols’ own power ranking on Twitter. The finalists officially opened their social network account on March 3rd following the press release from FOX. And so we present the list according to who has the most followers since March 3!
